Last week I had the pleasure of re-visiting Sweetie Moustache Dessert Lounge after first visiting dessert cafe many years back with a friend. This time I revisited with Maggie and Aleisha after our event.
The interior of Sweetie Moustache Dessert Lounge hasn’t changed at all – still cozy and a perfect place to chill with friends after work.
It was a really hot and humid day, so Maggie and I decided to order two crepe cakes and green tea to share. I know, I know, you’re probably asking why we ordered a hot green tea when it was a humid day, but we wanted the moustache cup for our shots #doitforthegram
The first crepe cake we tried was the decadent and creamy durian crepe cake, which is perfect for all durian lovers. The durian wasn’t overpowering at all, and added extra creaminess to the cake. There were multiple layers of moist and fluffy cakes with even layers of durian creme in between. It was definitely our favourite
The second crepe cake we shared was the refreshing lychee and watermelon crepe cake. Like the creamy durian cake, the lychee and watermelon crepe cake has multiple layers of crepe with even layers of creme. In the middle of the crepe cake is a generous slice of fresh watermelon and a layer of lychee. It was perfect for the hot day.
Aleisha on the other hand ordered the Hong Kong Egg Waffles topped with matcha ice-cream, strawberries, red beans and condense milk. I can’t really comment on this as I didn’t try it! But it did look decadent.
If you’re looking for a cozy place to chill with your friends with a good selection of sweet and savoury asian snacks, give Sweetie Moustache Dessert Lounge a try!
