After what seemed like a long week, I ventured out to Camberwell to check out Miss Frank that’s been trending on my instagram feed for a few weeks now – the vibrant colourful dishes really caught my eyes.
The staff were very friendly and down to earth, giving us the time to settle at our table, before taking our drink order while we checked out the menu. We started off with a coffee and green tea.
The dishes we ordered at Miss Frank were: Lean Green Fighting Machine, Cauliflower & Paprika fritters and the beautiful vibrant pitaya panna cotta.
I personally didn’t eat the Lean Green Fighting Machine, other than a bite of the wilted greens and chick peas, however I found the greens to be quite flavoursome from the curry spice. I adore the vibrant beetroot labne that the sour dough and wilted greens were sitting on top of – it makes it so inviting! Weilynn, who I caught up with – also ordered their vibrant green smoothie.

As for myself, I ordered the cauliflower and sweet paprika fritters, topped with poached eggs, black beans and feta. Whilst it isn’t the most beautiful looking dish out of our breakfast spread, the dish itself was full of flavour! The fritters were well seasoned, and had a nice bite too it. Each layer was topped up with creamy black beans – giving it an extra protein boost! Highly recommend this dish.
I also ordered their peanut butter and cacao smoothie – boy oh boy was it thick and creamy! It was probably more on the thick side, as I had a bit of trouble sucking it out of the straw, but peanut butter lovers out there, this is the drink to get – it is so intense! Love!

For dessert, we shared the gorgeous pitaya panna cotta served with coconut yoghurt, fresh fruit and granola. The delicate yet creamy pitaya panna cotta was beautifully balanced with the the granola textures, whilst the tartness of the strawberries and passionfruit helped balance the sweetness of the dish. Definitely an eye catching vibrant dish that’s insta worthy!

Whether you’re health conscious or not so health conscious, Miss Frank offers an array of dishes to cater for all. Going through my fitness journey and also being fructose intolerance, I was so happy to see dishes that would cater to my needs. I definitely need to organise another trip back as their congee definitely caught my eye! I highly recommend this cafe!
