This healthy breakfast idea was inspired during one of my work trips to Sydney in 2017, where I came across this ridiculously tasty protein smoothie. It’s full of healthy fats and natural sugars which will keep you fuller for longer and your sugar cravings at bay. In this recipe I’m using my favourite protein powder from the Natural Health Company. It’s completely natural, gluten free, boosts metabolism and has fat burning properties. Of course it’s recommended that you take the protein in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise :)
1/2 to 1 scoop of vanilla protein (I used Natural Health Company Natural Thermogenic (Fat Burning) Protein);
1 tbs of nut butter (I used Terra Madre Almond Butter Dry Roasted);
1/2 frozen banana;
Add all ingredients and blend! Pour into a bowl and sprinkle the nuts, coconut flakes, super mix and add a couple of pieces of chocolate.
