So I had the day off this week, and coincidentally there was no electricity for the day due to maintenance performed. :(
With no electricity I decided that it would be the perfect day to go for a drive and have brunch. I have been wanting to try out CIBI ever since I was told about it.
As I wanted to eat healthy that day, I ended up ordering Genmai Cha which is a green tea mixed with roasted brown rice tea.
I’m not sure whether they were short staffed or whether they had forgotten but I waited almost 15+ minutes for my tea. It was only after I flagged them down that my drink came shortly after.
Chicken Soboro: Free range chicken mince cooked with miso and ginger, seasonal green vegetable, endamame, mizuna salad with quinoa rice.
The chicken mince cooked with miso and ginger was really delicious. The ginger was not over powering and I really enjoyed the sweetness of the miso.
The soy braised eggs were good, however it was on the slightly salty side. However if you eat it together with all the broad beans, rocket leaves and endamame it’s perfect.
- Service is slow and not really attentive. Cashier did not know the prices of the dishes and had to look up the prices on the menu when I was paying.
- All the dishes there are healthy and they use organic products where possible.
